Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz seeks a senior software engineer to develop front-end and back-end of web applications with a modular architecture. You will design cloud-based networking management solutions, coordinate across interdisciplinary teams, and drive software from design through customer acceptance testing.

OpenAPI REST APIs will be defined and solutions evaluated across multiple tech stacks. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Angular, Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot microservices, and modern

Qualifications

Experience with Angular (≥16), TypeScript for front-end and Java/Kotlin, Vert.X, Spring Boot microservices for back-end.
Overall experience of 10-12 years.
Experience with underlying data stores Postgres, Redis or Clickhouse.
Experience with Spring, testing frameworks and Java libraries (e.g. AssertJ).
Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Selenium).
Familiar with building automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
Experience in modularized software with clear interfaces.
Curiosity in AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor.AI, Claude Code) to accelerate velocity while maintaining quality.
Clear and precise communication of problems in English
Experience with agile development methods.
Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience in hybrid work environments and collaborating with international teams.

Your Qualifications

Angular, Java & Spring Boot | Frontend UX | Kubernetes Microservices
Overall experience of 10-12 years
Experience with Angular (≥16), Typescript for the Front-End and Java (21)/Kotlin, Vert.X, Spring Boot microservices for the Back-End
Experience with the underlying data stores Postgres, Redis or Clickhouse
Experience with Spring, testing frameworks and Java libraries (e.g. AssertJ)
Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Selenium)
Familiar using and building automated CI-CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins).
Experience in building consistently modularized software with clear interfaces
Curiosity in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub CoPilot, Cursor.AI, Claude Code etc.) to accelerate development velocity while maintaining code quality
Clear and precise communication of problems in English
Experience with agile development methods.
Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes (K8s) is a plus.
Experience in hybrid work environments.
Collaboration with international teams across different time zones.
Functional knowledge of network management is an added advantage.
