Job summary

Iris Software in Noida, UP, India, invites an experienced DevOps + AWS Senior Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native GenAI platforms on AWS. The candidate will drive IaC, CI/CD modernization, and secure deployment across enterprise-scale workloads.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, Python scripting, and hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and Bedrock-inspired workloads, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of DevOps and Cloud experience in AWS environments.
• Experience building secure, scalable GenAI workloads on AWS and IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and modern DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own enterprise-grade cloud architectures across clouds with focus on AWS.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, and governance for dev/test/prod environments.
• Lead modern CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CodeFresh, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Embed DevSecOps into pipelines and ensure PCI DSS/banking/compliance readiness.

Job Description

We are looking for a AWS (DevOps Cloud) Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native, GenAI-powered platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS (Python), strong understanding of LLMs and Amazon Bedrock, and experience building secure, scalable AI workloads using modern cloud and DevOps practices. The role focuses on cloud native architecture, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and CI/CD modernization primarily around setting up and supporting Gen AI led architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture, Design Technical Leadership
   • Design and own enterprise‑grade cloud architectures across clouds, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
   • Develop reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable cloud patterns to standardize platform adoption across teams
   • Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, including application onboarding and legacy migration.
   • Lead cloud modernization initiatives for AI‑first and data‑driven applications.
   • Guide teams on cloud‑native design, networking, identity, and security best practices for AI workloads.
2. Infrastructure as Code (AWS Python First)
   • Architect and standardize Infrastructure as Code using AWS (Python) as the primary IaC framework.
   • Build reusable constructs and stacks for:
     • VPCs, networking, IAM
     • ECS / EKS / Lambda
     • API Gateway / ALB
     • S3, DynamoDB, RDS
     • Bedrock integrations and GenAI workloads
   • Enforce environment parity, repeatability, and governance across dev, test, and prod.
   • Drive automation for environment provisioning, scaling, and teardown.
3. DevOps, CI/CD
   • Design and implement modern CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CodeFresh, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
   • Define branching, release, and deployment strategies for both application and IaC workloads.
   • Lead SCM modernization initiatives, migrating legacy repositories to GitHub/GitLab and enforcing DevSecOps governance.
   • Reduce manual interventions through pipeline automation, improving deployment reliability and release velocity.
4. Security, Compliance Reliability
   • Embed DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security and compliance by design.
   • Support regulated workloads including PCI DSS and banking compliance environments.
   • Apply SRE principles SLIs, SLOs, incident management, and root‑cause analysis to improve system reliability.
   • Partner with security and audit teams to meet enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.
5. Leadership Collaboration
   • Act as DevOps Lead / Cloud Solution Architect for multiple concurrent projects.
   • Collaborate with engineering, QA, products, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
   • Mentor DevOps and cloud engineers; conduct workshops and technical enablement sessions.
   • Drive continuous improvement in tooling, processes, and platform maturity across the organization

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (primary) and working knowledge of Azure and GCP.
• Expert‑level skills in Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale, mission‑critical systems.
• Reasonable understanding of Python to write scripts.
