Job summary

Iris Software is seeking a Python Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems in a cloud-first environment. You will build RESTful services using Django, Flask, or FastAPI and leverage AWS for cloud-native solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and high-performance applications, participate in code reviews, and drive CI/CD automation across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python backend development experience.
• Proficient in Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python development, cloud-native architecture, microservices, and AWS services, with a strong focus on delivering robust and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
