Job summary

Iris Software invites an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will lead CI/CD automation and IaC initiatives to enable reliable, secure deployments.

The role emphasizes Windows-based workloads on ECS, container orchestration, and cost-optimized architectures. You will collaborate with development and QA teams to maintain high availability and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Proficient in IaC with CDK or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on with Docker containers and ECS on Windows.
• Solid knowledge of networking in AWS (VPC, subnets, security groups).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools like CDK and CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS (Windows workloads).
• Configure load balancing and traffic routing with ALB and NLB.
• Implement and manage storage using S3 and monitor with CloudWatch.
• Ensure security best practices including IAM, KMS, and SSM.
• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure and application layers.
• Collaborate with development/QA to enable automated, reliable deployments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and containerized deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CDK and AWS CloudFormation
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS (with strong focus on Windows containers)
• Configure and manage load balancing and traffic routingusing Application Load Balancer (ALB)and Network Load Balancer (NLB)
• Implement and manage storage solutions using Amazon S3
• Set up and maintain monitoring and observabilityusing Amazon CloudWatch (logs, metrics, alarms, dashboards)
• Ensure security best practices, including management of IAM roles/policies, encryption via AWS KMS, and secure access using AWS Systems Manager (SSM)
• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure and application layers, ensuring high availability and system reliability
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enable smooth, automated, and reliable deployment processes
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and operational procedures
  Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (especially Windows-based workloads)
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups)
• Experience implementing DevOps best practices and automation strategies
• Good To have .Net coding experience
