Job summary

N K Sales And Services is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance/Dimensional Inspection professional for plastic injection moulding parts in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The role demands hands-on use of Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Profile Projector, and CMM to ensure CTQ/CTS conformance against drawings and 3D data.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in layout inspection, with automotive industry exposure (Tier 1 preferred) and knowledge of LIR, FAI and PPAP documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Layout / Dimensional Inspection.
• Experience in Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred).
• Experience in TACO / similar OEM supplier base will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Drawing reading & GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with Measuring Instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Profile Projector.
• Working knowledge of CMM Operation & Reporting (Desirable).
• Knowledge of Plastic Moulding Defects: Flash, Short Shot, Sink Mark, Warpage, Splay.
• Knowledge of Layout Inspection Report (LIR), FAI & PPAP Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 100% layout inspection of plastic injection moulded parts as per drawing, 3D data and customer standards.
• Check all CTQ and CTS parameters and ensure conformance.
• Operate and interpret results from CMM and other measuring instruments.
• Verify part appearance and mould defects like warpage, flash, sink marks, short moulding, splay.
• Prepare and maintain Layout Inspection Reports (LIR), FAI and PPAP documentation.

1.Role & responsibilities

• 1.Conduct 100% layout inspection of plastic injection moulded parts as per drawing, 3D data and customer standards.
• 2.Check all critical dimensions, critical to quality (CTQ) and critical to safety (CTS) parameters.
• 3.Use instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector, Hardness Tester, Weighing Machine.
• 4.Operate advanced equipment like CMM, Contour Tracer, Roughness Tester, Colour Matching, Gloss Meter as required.
• 5.Verify part appearance, warpage, sink marks, flash, short moulding, splay, and other moulding defects.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1.2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Layout / Dimensional Inspection
• 2.Must have experience in Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred)
• 3.Experience in TACO / similar OEM supplier base will be an added advantage
