Job summary

Karomi Technology in Chennai seeks a Software Support Engineer to maintain and enhance existing systems. The role involves handling incidents, changes, and live support to ensure uninterrupted service, while interacting with clients to resolve issues promptly.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in software development or application support and hands-on experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, API, and SQL Server. Willingness to work in shifts and learn new technologies is preferred.

• Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Interact with clients to manage product support activities and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Research and develop expertise in new technologies; create technical specifications, documentation, and test plans.
• Perform database maintenance, data migration, and server migration activities.
• Manage new instance creation and configuration as required for projects or clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and application maintenance processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when required.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.
