Job summary

Brose India is seeking a Senior .NET Architect to define the overall MES shopfloor solution architecture. You will design scalable, maintainable .NET-based systems and establish standards for APIs, integration, and deployment.

You will work with Blazor, WPF, gRPC, REST APIs and connect PLC/OPC systems, SAP and ERP interfaces while ensuring secure, observable, high-performing software across multi-tier distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in .NET/.NET Core architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Blazor, WPF, gRPC APIs, REST/Web APIs.
• Strong database knowledge in Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience designing multi-tier and distributed systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall solution architecture of the MES shopfloor application.
• Design scalable, modular, and maintainable .NET-based architectures.
• Create end-to-end architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and deployment models.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Integrate with PLC/OPC, MES/SAP/ERP, and internal enterprise systems; ensure secure, reliable APIs.

Your Tasks

• Architecture & Solution Design
• Define and own the overall solution architecture of the MES shopfloor application
• Design scalable, modular, and maintainable .NET‑based architectures
• Create end‑to‑end architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and deployment models
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Architect applications using:
• .NET / .NET Core
• Blazor (Server / WASM)o WPF (legacy and hybrid scenarios)
• Design and govern:
• gRPC APIs (high‑performance inter‑service communication)
• REST / Web APIs
• Integration with PLC / OPC / shopfloor systems (conceptual and technical)
• Integration & Interfaces
• Define integration architecture with:
• Manufacturing equipment (PLC / SPS)o External MES / SAP / ERP systems
• Internal enterprise systems
• Ensure secure, reliable, and performant API‑based communication
• Define error‑handling, retry mechanisms, and observability strategies

Your Profile

• Strong experience in .NET / .NET Core architecture
• Hands‑on knowledge of:
• Blazor
• WPF
• gRPC APIs
• REST / Web APIs
• Strong database knowledge:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• Experience designing multi‑tier and distributed systems
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps concepts (preferred)
