Job summary

Brose Group in Pune, India, is seeking a permanent, full-time backend developer. You will work on Python backends, Django, and related tooling, with emphasis on UI-less services interfacing databases and other systems via HTTP.

Expect cross-cultural collaboration with German colleagues and a focus on automation and process improvement. The role requires advanced Python coding, strong design skills, pytest expertise, and experience with UML/documentation, SQL databases, and modern DevOps tools

Qualifications

• Advanced coding skills in python. (Proven track record)
• Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
• Very good understanding in pytest
• Very good knowledge in the python framework Django
• Good knowledge in python tooling. (e.g. pipenv, black, flake8, isort)
• Good technical understanding in web-based transmission formats: (XML, JSON, YAML)
• Good knowledge in creating UML and documentation.
• Knowledge in relational database languages. (e.g. SQL)
• Proven track record with the development environment Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)
• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
