Job summary

UST is seeking a professional in Coimbatore for functional safety software development. Candidates should possess deep experience with uC OS, SafeRTOS or FreeRTOS, and have a solid understanding of various safety concepts. You will be responsible for managing FIT implementation and realizing FFI while addressing safety analysis activities. Ideal candidates will also show fruitful expertise in documentation practices and functional safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in functional safety software development is required.

Responsibilities

• Functional Safety software development
• Experience in SafeRTOS / FreeRTOS
• Deep experience with uC OS
• Git/Gerrit
• Docs-As-Code skills
• FIT (Fault inject code) implementation management and understanding of FIT limitations and system behavior on fault injection
• Understanding of safety concepts (requirements + design), safety goal, safety path, rationale for each SMs definition, how to handle Safety Manual & AoU, safety analysis activities, and influence
• FFI realization from memory, timing and resource sharing perspective, including dependency handling between QM & ASIL, identifying measures and verification of the FFI
