Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Tech Lead for Enterprise Application Salesforce integration to architect and build high-performance connections between Salesforce, ERPs, and asset management systems. You will enable seamless Field Service and Asset Lifecycle operations with robust API integrations and event-driven architectures.

Ideal candidates will have strong Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, LWC), FSL expertise, and a track record of leading integration projects in Agile

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent with Salesforce development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Field Service (FSL).
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations between Salesforce and external ERPs/Asset Management systems.
• Develop real-time data streams using Platform Events and CDC for field services.
• Architect ingestion of high-volume data into Salesforce to trigger ASLM workflows.
• Implement Queueable, Batch, and Future Apex for large-scale data processing.
• Configure secure authentication with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Named Credentials.
• Build self-healing integration frameworks with logging, retries, and alerting.
• Perform API performance testing and SOQL/SOSL optimization for low latency.

Inviting applications for the role of Tech Lead , Salesforce Integration Developer

This role is dedicated to architecting and building the high-performance "connective tissue" between Salesforce, external ERPs, and other platforms to power seamless Field Service and Asset Lifecycle operations.

Responsibilities:

• API Architecture: Design and implement robust REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations to synchronize data between Salesforce, ERPs (like SAP/Oracle), and Asset Management systems.
• Real-Time Data Streams: Develop high-scale event-driven architectures using Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Apex Triggers to ensure field technicians have real-time data.
• Asset & Other platform Integration: Architect the ingestion of high-volume data into Salesforce to trigger automated Asset Service Lifecycle Management (ASLM) workflows.
• Asynchronous Processing: Expertly implement Queueable, Batch, and Future Apex to handle large-scale data imports and heavy computational logic without hitting governor limits.
• Security & Identity: Configure secure authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Named Credentials, ensuring end-to-end encryption and compliance.
• Error Handling Frameworks: Build "Self-Healing" integration frameworks with custom logging, automated retry logic, and real-time alerting for failed synchronization events.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct rigorous API performance testing and SOQL/SOSL optimization to ensure low-latency responses for external system calls.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• B.E or B.Tech or MCA
• Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Field Service.
• Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data model, and functionality.
• Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Field Service Lightning Consultant) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Apex Unit Tests, Jest).
