Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer / Dev Lead in Pune with 8 to 12 years of experience. You will design, build and own enterprise-scale applications using Java, React, and Azure, integrating AI capabilities and scalable architectures.

Lead delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive DevOps practices, security, and performance improvements across cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in full-stack software development and enterprise delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern backend frameworks.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Java, React, and Azure technologies.
• Build scalable and secure full-stack solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Develop modern user interfaces and responsive web applications using React and related frontend technologies.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java-based frameworks.
• Integrate AI capabilities and intelligent automation features into business applications.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging Azure services and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning activities.
• Implement security, reliability, performance, and scalability best practices across applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and engineering guidelines.
• Troubleshoot application issues and conduct root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Optimize application performance and improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Create technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
