vConstruct, a construction technology company, seeks a motivated Detailer with experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures. You will independently prepare fabrication, erection, and field drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Collaborating with Senior Detailers, Modellers, and project leads, you will manage drawing revisions, maintain issue logs, and contribute to continuous improvement in detailing practices and delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in structural steel detailing with hands-on drawing production.
• Experience preparing and revising fabrication, erection, and field drawings using Tekla Structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update fabrication, erection, and field drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Revise GA drawings for anchor bolts and erection plans as required.
• Verify dimensions, marks, bolt and weld information for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Senior Detailers and project team to resolve drawing issues.

vConstruct, a Pune-based Construction Technology company, isseeking a motivated and detail-orientedwithexperience in structural steel detailing and drawing production using TeklaStructures. This role is responsible for independently preparing and updatingaccurate fabrication, erection, and field work drawings for assigned work,ensuring compliance with project requirements, detailing standards, qualityexpectations, and delivery schedules.

TheDetailer works closely with Senior Detailers, Modellers, Checkers, ProjectLeads and other project team members to produce high-quality drawingdeliverables that support efficient fabrication and erection. The role alsocontributes to drawing revision management, quality improvement, and thecontinued development of technical expertise in structural steel detailingpractices.

KeyResponsibilities

• Prepare, update, andmaintain fabrication shop, erection, and field work drawings using TeklaStructures in accordance with project requirements, client standards, andestablished detailing practices.
• Support thepreparation and revision of General Arrangement (GA) drawings for anchorbolt and erection plans, and other project-specific drawing deliverables.
• Verify dimensions,member marks, assembly marks, bolt information, weld information, anddrawing references for accuracy and completeness.
• Identifydiscrepancies, missing information, and drawing-related issues. Coordinatewith Senior Detailers, Modellers, Checkers, and other project team membersto resolve routine issues and upscale matters requiring further technicalclarification.
• Apply project-specificdrawing standards, templates, layouts, revision procedures, and workflowsconsistently throughout project execution.
• Perform self-checksbefore submitting drawings for review. Address feedback from SeniorDetailers, Checkers, and project team members to improve drawing accuracyand minimize revisions and rework.
• Complete assigneddrawing tasks within agreed schedules and communicate progress, technicalchallenges, and potential delivery concerns to the appropriate teammembers.
• Ensure revisions arecorrectly identified, clouded, tagged, and documented in accordance withproject requirements. Maintain drawing issue logs, revision records, andrelated documentation as required.
• Participate intechnical training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and skill developmentactivities. Build knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erectionpractices, drawing requirements, and revision control.
• Support improvementsto detailing procedures, drawing templates, layouts, and workflows.Contribute ideas to improve drawing quality, consistency, productivity,and delivery efficiency.

RequiredQualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relateddiscipline; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• 2+ years of experiencein structural steel detailing, with hands-on experience in drawingproduction.
• Experience preparingand revising fabrication, erection, and field work drawings using theTekla Structures drawing environment.
• Basic understanding ofstructural steel fabrication, connections, and erection practices.
• Working knowledge ofAISC standards and U.S. structural steel detailing practices.

TechnicalSkills

• Intermediateproficiency in the Tekla Structures drawing environment.
• Structural steelfabrication and shop drawing preparation.
• Erection drawingpreparation and revision.
