Job summary

Percepta LLC in Mohali, India seeks a Senior Site IT professional to provide onsite support for approximately 700+ computers across G&A, Production and Training. The role requires technical expertise to maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair desktop hardware and peripherals, and to serve as escalation for complex issues.

The candidate will ensure desktop compliance, configure phones, and collaborate with other IT teams during deployment of new desktops and software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting computer systems hardware and peripherals.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical and configuration issues.
• Provide onsite support for VIP/P&E users.
• SME on all desktop applications and essential site functions.
• Softphone and Hard Phone configuration and administration.
• Monitor and maintain desktop compliance (SCCM Client Health, SEP Anti-Virus, MS Patch updates).
• Monitor and maintain site DHCP IPs, VLAN configuration and administration.
• Assist with project discovery, planning and management; liaison between departments.

Responsibilities

• Work with other IT teams during deployment of new desktop images or software projects.
• Recommend process improvements and involve junior staff development.
• Support senior IT team with sales processes.
• Provide training and technical assistance to end users.
• Create/update SOPs, job aids, FAQs; review and improve IT processes and procedures.
• Set and maintain a standard performance for the team; enforce policies.

Job description

Experience: 5 + Years

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, upgrade, replace and repair computer systems hardware and computer peripherals. Act as an escalation point for complex technical and configuration issues. Provide onsite support for VIP/P&E users.

• Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all desktop applications and other functions vital to the success of the site. Demonstrates knowledge and experience and excellent customer service skills.
• Softphone and Hard Phone Configuration and Administration.
• Monitor and Maintain Desktop Compliance such as SCCM Client Health, SEP Anti-Virus, and MS Patch updates. Ensure Site IT compliance in terms of vulnerability management,
• Monitor and Maintain Site’s DHCP IPs ensuring each client/department has enough IP Pool, VLAN Configuration and Administration.
• Assist with implementing discovery, planning and managing projects. Act as a liaison between other departments and the Site IT group.
• Work with other IT teams during the development and deployment phase of new desktop images or software projects. Recommend method changes for processes and general group development involving new technology.
• Support senior IT team with sales process.
• Provide minimal training and technical assistance to end users.
• Creating/Updating documentations like SOPs; Job Aids, FAQs, etc., review and improve our Site IT processes and procedures.
• Assist in setting and maintaining a standard performance for the team by providing leadership and enforcing policies.
• Proactively seeks out opportunities for improvement by mentoring and training junior specialists.
• Act as backup for IT Site Supervisor where appropriate.

This will be a Standard senior Site IT role to provide onsite support for the Mohali, IN site. Need technical support to perform physical work on the technology at the site. approx. 700 onsite computers; G&A, Production, Training will get impacted. Per the site leaders, the site has a approx 700 population and aim to increase. Along with other technology infrastructure, new Client onboardings will be severely impacted.

This will be a Standard Site IT role to provide onsite support for the Mohali site.
