Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced civil and structural engineer to prepare detailed drawings for industrial, data center, commercial, mixed-use, and FMCG projects. You will produce plans, elevations, sections and steel connection details, using BIM tools to coordinate across disciplines.

Strong expertise in Revit, Navisworks and related BIM platforms is essential, as well as a proven track record of delivering accurate drawings and take-offs.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience developing 3D models for civil and structural works.
• Expert knowledge of RCC and steel building structures.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and materials.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and other design tools is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and ACC.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare range of civil and structural drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Prepare steel structural drawings including connection details.
• Prepare civil drawings such as grading plans, paving plans, roads, stormwater drainage, sewer details, and other civil plans/details.
• Use 3D modeling in Revit for model creation, 2D extraction, final drawing production, and coordination with Navisworks, BIM 360, and ACC.
• Learn and apply company, client, and project drafting standards and procedures.
• Execute design changes, review and revise project drawings.
• Communicate and correspond with internal design resources.
• Generate material take‑offs for civil and structural works from the Revit model.

Qualifications
