Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a BIM Structural Modeler to develop 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring quality and alignment with project objectives. The role involves coordinating with engineers and managers, mentoring drafting teammates, and maintaining BIM standards across multidisciplinary projects.

The candidate should have strong REVIT (Arch & MEP) skills, experience with LOD 300, and familiarity with international projects; precast experience is a plus. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• LOD 300 REVIT documentation (3D/2D) with general arrangement, steel detailing
• BIM management experience is a preferred additional skill
• Experience on international projects and precast is an advantage

Role

BIM Structural Modeler. As part of multidisciplinary project teams, the candidate provides drafting support to technically challenging projects. Responsibilities include creating 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring the technical quality of their work, and complying with project objectives and quality standards.

Experience

• Minimum LOD 300 REVIT documentation (3D and 2D) with general arrangement, composite steel, structural steel, reinforcement, and detailing drawings. • Experience in precast is an advantage. • Experience on international projects. • Self‑motivated, team player, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • BIM management experience is a preferred additional skill.

Responsibilities

• Work on detailed drawings for a range of projects to create 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Support, mentor and train other drafting team members in accomplishing complex tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for BIM documentation and drafting work.
• Ensure technical correctness, project standard compliance, and timely delivery of drawings and documents.
• Exercise self‑discipline and work ethics.
• Respect and follow company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with Architecture, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Use REVIT (Arch and MEP) for coordinate models and Navisworks for model checking.
• Possess in‑depth knowledge of building structural elements.
• Apply BIM knowledge per industry best practices, including 3D modelling, scheduling, multi‑disciplinary coordination and documentation, and BIM setup for project execution and monitoring.
