Job summary

Classic Signages seeks a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineer to design solar PV layouts, prepare BOMs, and perform cost estimates for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.

The role includes PVsyst simulations, shading analysis, and generating feasibility studies, with collaboration with supervisors and contractors. Strong communication and basic MS Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical.
• Capable to discuss design/drawing queries with supervisor/contractor/officer.
• Experience with solar PV design and PV systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make layout of site on AutoCAD & PVsyst.
• Prepare BOM of structure.
• Calculate costing of the structure.
• Discuss design/drawing queries with supervisor/contractor/officer.
• Perform solar PV system simulation using PVsyst for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• Calculate energy yield, performance ratio (PR), and system losses for estimation.
• Design and optimize system configuration including layout, stringing, and inverter sizing.
• Conduct shading analysis and evaluate site conditions for performance impact.
• Generate detailed simulation reports and feasibility studies for approval/proposals.
• Support pre-bid and proposal engineering with performance data.

• Making BOM of structure.
• Taking out the costing of the structure.
• Should be capable to discuss with supervisor/contractor/officer on queries raised by him related to design/drawing.
• Perform solar PV system simulation using PVsyst for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• Calculate energy yield, performance ratio (PR), and system losses for accurate project estimation.
• Design and optimize system configuration including module layout, stringing, and inverter sizing.
• Conduct shading analysis and evaluate site conditions for performance impact.
