Job summary

Cortex Consultants LLC in Bangalore/Noida is seeking a Design Verification (DV) Engineer with strong SystemVerilog, UVM, and AMBA protocol verification expertise. You will develop verification environments, verify IPs/SoCs, and debug complex issues across a full cycle.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SV/UVM experience, AMBA protocol knowledge, and a track record in functional verification and regression testing. Collaboration with Design teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification environments.
• Strong understanding of AMBA protocols (AXI/AHB/APB).
• Proven ability to verify IP/SoCs and debug complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for AMBA-based IPs and SoCs.
• Build and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments.
• Verify AMBA protocols including AXI, AHB, and APB.
• Develop reusable testbenches, test cases, and verification components.
• Perform functional verification, regression testing, and coverage closure.
• Debug protocol and functional issues, identify root causes, and work with Design teams for resolution.
• Create assertions, functional coverage, and verification reports.
• Collaborate with Design, Architecture, and Validation teams throughout the verification cycle.

Experience: 5 - 14 Years

We are looking for an experienced Design Verification (DV) Engineer with strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and AMBA Protocol Verification. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in developing UVM-based verification environments, verifying AMBA-based IPs/SoCs, and debugging complex functional issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for AMBA-based IPs and SoCs.
• Build and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments.
• Verify AMBA protocols including AXI, AHB, and APB.
• Develop reusable testbenches, test cases, and verification components.
• Perform functional verification, regression testing, and coverage closure.
• Debug protocol and functional issues, identify root causes, and work with Design teams for resolution.
• Create assertions, functional coverage, and verification reports.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM.
• Solid understanding of AMBA Protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Experience in IP/SoC functional verification and debugging.
• Knowledge of assertions (SVA), functional coverage, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with industry‑standard simulation and debug tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AMBA DTI.
• Exposure to ARM-based SoC verification.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell is an added advantage.
