Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Catia, PLM and APiS for design robustness.
• DFMEA experience and process understanding required.
• Analytical mindset with good negotiation and project skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in New Model activities.
• Monitor market issues and respond within defined severity timelines.
• Update test standards and capture lessons learned.

A purpose driven role for you

This role is responsible for managing critical engine components, including the cylinder head, block, crankshaft, casting, machining, and powertrain. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional team (CFT) members to achieve new product design quality and reliability through a "First Time Right" approach while actively managing market issues and customer feedback to ensure timely resolution. Technical requirements for this position include a strong understanding of automotive processes, proficiency in Catia, PLM, and APiS, and in-depth knowledge of Design, Process DFMEA.

A Day in the life

~Managing / Participation in New Model activity.
~Management of Market Issues with time bound as per the severity.
~Monitoring / update of test standard and Lesson Leant
