Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Group Manager for our Fashion & Retail division in India (Karnataka, BLR Yemalur). The role focuses on coordinating regional design plans, managing CAPEX constraints, and driving store development across upcoming projects.

You will work with internal teams and external architects to deliver timely solutions, develop new store concepts, and ensure alignment with store branding and cost targets. This position is based in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Controlling the CAPEX budget across store levels.
• Design development for existing and upcoming store layouts and concepts.
• Vendor development coordinating with architects and external stakeholders to ensure timely changes.
• Requirement gathering with Operations, Retail, Brand teams on frequent needs.
• New concept design for Sub Brand Store launches and low-cost model stores.

Key Challenges

• Coordinating with Regional Project Team on drawings/ design mismatch as per requirements.
• Immediate action required, if there is a design mismatch to deliver the solutions within the time constraints.
• Controlling the CAPEX (if it overshoots the budget) by making necessary design and planning changes for the stores by coordinating with the regional teams (internal).

KRA1 Controlling the capital expenditure budget

• 1. Ensure that the CAPEX budget is under control for different levels of stores
• 2. Make necessary changes in design/development within defined CAPEX

KRA2 Design Development

• 1. Work on existing and upcoming store design, planning and development.

KRA3 Vendor Development

• 1. Ensure that the design requirements are well coordinated with external stakeholders such as architects
• 2. Ensure that the fixtures and changes in design are made in a timely manner

KRA4 Requirement Gathering

• 1. Coordinate with all the internal stakeholders i.e. Operations Team, Retail Team, Brand Team on frequent requirements

KRA5 New concept design

• 1. Create new identities (layout designs, concepts for e.g. V-dot) for new Sub Brand Store launches in future
• 2. Create new identities for low-cost model stores
