Job summary

Sciencebydesign Labsystems in India is seeking an experienced leader to oversee end-to-end MEP design for R&D laboratory projects. The role will drive design innovations, strategic project planning, and resource management while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and ISO-compliant quality.

The ideal candidate will review HVAC layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT-MEP, size MEP equipment, and oversee tender processes to achieve time, cost, and quality

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, lead, control MEP design work and the team
• Reviewing KRA
• Daily progress with Team
• Training to team as required
• Provide resolution of design issues
• Manage the MEP design including all inputs, coordination and deliverables to achieve the time, cost, and quality objectives
• Reviewing the multi-view as-built drawings of HVAC systems using AutoCAD & REVIT-MEP
• Reviewing MEP equipment selection and sizing.
• Reviewing MEP layouts and complete Tender.
• Preparing and implementing inspection, testing procedures and quality assurance plan to check self & team output; ensuring adherence to the pre-set quality standards in order to deliver error-free output and maintaining relevant documents for future reference; preparing design documents for auditing as per ISO standards.
• Visiting Site for Due Diligence reports as per the companys policy.
• Thumb rule calculation for MEP services.

• 6. Identify issues causing risk or delay to the project.
• 7. Ensure management of the MEP design process in accordance with company policy, procedures and the Design Management Plan
