Job summary

Embassy Group is seeking a seasoned Architect with leadership in design development and coordination for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects in NCR. You will drive concept development, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants, and ensure compliance with building codes and approvals.

The role emphasizes value engineering, execution support, and strong stakeholder management to deliver high-quality developments that align with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture / Urban Design / Planning will be an added advantage.
• 15 years of relevant experience in residential real estate design, planning, and project coordination.
• Exposure to luxury residential, mixed-use, township, or redevelopment projects preferred.
• Experience in NCR market and regulatory environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept, schematic, and design development for residential and mixed-use projects aligned with company design standards.
• Drive innovation, sustainability, and value engineering initiatives across projects.
• Ensure designs align with customer expectations, feasibility, and brand positioning.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Projects, Sales, Marketing, CRM, Procurement, and Liaisoning.
• Manage external consultants including Architectural, Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior, and Facade consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local development regulations, statutory approvals, fire & life safety norms, environmental requirements, and building codes.
• Review and approve Concept, GFC, Tender, and Working Drawings.
• Support Projects team during execution stages and resolve design-related issues.

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage technical design, planning coordination, and multidisciplinary consultant integration across residential, commercial and mixed-use real estate projects. The role is responsible for driving concept development, design coordination, statutory compliance, technical reviews, and execution support while ensuring alignment with project objectives, design standards, timelines, and cost parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Development

• Lead concept, schematic, and design development for residential and mixed-use projects aligned with company design standards
• Drive innovation, sustainability, and value engineering initiatives across projects
• Ensure designs align with customer expectations, feasibility, and brand positioning

Design Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams including Projects, Sales, Marketing, CRM, Procurement, and Liaisoning
• Manage external consultants including Architectural, Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior, and Facade consultants
• Ensure smooth multidisciplinary coordination and integration of design deliverables

Approvals & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local development regulations, statutory approvals, fire & life safety norms, environmental requirements, and building codes
• Coordinate with liaison architects and approval consultants for statutory approvals and submissions

Drawing Management

• Review and approve Concept, GFC, Tender, and Working Drawings
• Ensure timely release, quality, and technical accuracy of drawings and documentation

Execution & Technical Support

• Support Projects team during execution stages and resolve design-related issues
• Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is maintained during construction
• Coordinate technical clarifications and execution support with consultants and contractors

Value Engineering & Material Coordination

• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising design quality
• Support material selection, specification reviews, and technical evaluations

Stakeholder & Product Management

• Present design concepts and updates to senior management
• Support Sales & Marketing teams with layouts, presentations, and design inputs
• Benchmark market trends, project specifications, and competitor developments to enhance product offerings

Qualifications and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred
• Master’s Degree in Architecture / Urban Design / Planning will be an added advantage
• 15 years of relevant experience in residential real estate design, planning, and project coordination
• Strong experience in concept design, consultant coordination, authority approvals, and project execution support preferred
• Exposure to luxury residential, mixed-use, township, or redevelopment projects preferred
• Experience in NCR market and regulatory environment preferred

• Strong understanding of architectural design development and technical coordination
• Good knowledge of statutory regulations, fire & life safety norms, and approval processes
• Strong design sensibility and understanding of residential market trends
• Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Office, and presentation tools
