Job summary

Oji India Packaging is seeking a packaging design engineer to craft corrugated boxes, cartons, trays, partitions, and customized packaging solutions, and to prepare CAD drawings and artwork for production.

The role requires knowledge of board grades, flute types, ECT/BCT, and collaboration with customers, production, quality, and sales to ensure feasible, cost-efficient designs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of board construction, flute profiles, ECT, BCT, and packaging standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (ArtiosCAD preferred).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of packaging dimensions, tolerances and material optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
