Mamaearth is seeking a packaging design professional to lead end-to-end packaging concepts and production-ready artwork. You will translate briefs into effective designs for multiple SKUs while ensuring brand alignment and production accuracy.
You will collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Sales and Suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality across formats and sizes. A strong foundation in typography, color theory and pre-press is essential.
Develop innovative and visually compelling packaging concepts aligned with brand guidelines and consumer expectations. Handle the complete packaging design lifecycle from brain storming to concept development and artwork creation to final production files. Create packaging designs for primary and secondary packaging across multiple formats and SKUs. Translate creative briefs, brand positioning, and product requirements into effective design solutions. Develop design adaptations across different pack sizes, variants, and product launches. Prepare production ready artworks, ensuring accuracy of dimensions, dielines, colors, typography, barcodes, legal declarations, and other mandatory information. Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Sales, Procurement, and Quality teams. Coordinate with printers, packaging suppliers, and external agencies to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. 3-4 years of relevant experience in packaging design, preferably in FMCG, consumer products, retail, food & beverage, cosmetics, or a similar industry. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Experience using AI tools. Good understanding of packaging structures, dielines, printing processes, color management, and pre-press requirements. Strong knowledge of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, branding, and color theory. Ability to create both conceptual and production-ready artwork. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify artwork/print errors. Good communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
