Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Surat is seeking a Design Cum Estimation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in Electrical Control Panel and Automation Panel Design and Estimation. You will design panels, prepare BOQ/BOM, select components, and prepare technical and commercial estimates.

The role involves reviewing RFQs, SLDs, drawings, and coordinating with vendors and project teams, using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN and MS Excel to maintain costing records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of electrical panel design, BOQ/BOM preparation, costing and technical estimation.
• 2–3 years of experience in Electrical Control Panel / Automation Panel Design and Estimation.
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design Electrical Control Panels and Automation Panels as per project requirements.
• Prepare BOQ, BOM, cost estimates and techno-commercial quotations.
• Understand and review RFQs, SLDs and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate electrical and automation components based on project requirements.
• Prepare material costing and support accurate project estimation.
• Work with components such as PLC, HMI, VFD, MCC, PCC, APFC and Control Panels.
• Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN.
• Coordinate with vendors, purchase, production and project teams for material and costing requirements.
• Ensure designs and estimates meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain estimation records and costing data using MS Excel.
