Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an Estimation Engineer with around 1 year of experience in electrical panel estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate BOMs and cost estimates for PCC, MCC, VFD, and PLC Panels based on load lists, I/O lists, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare BOMs for PCC, MCC, VFD, and PLC Panels as per load lists and I/O lists.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and related documents for offer preparation.

Evaluate design or requirement changes and revise estimations to ensure accurate panel costing.

Prepare and maintain files/documents for techno-commercial meetings.

Cross-check prices between the final ordered sheet and final estimation sheet.

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate costing and timely submission of quotations.

Maintain proper estimation records as per company procedures.

Follow ERP processes and ISO 9001 rules and regulations.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of electrical panel components and technical specifications.

Basic understanding of BOM preparation and panel costing.

Ability to calculate BOM costs accurately and efficiently.

Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

Knowledge of ERP systems.

Understanding of ISO 9001 rules and regulations.

Good analytical and documentation skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work with technical drawings and specifications.

Preferred Candidate

1 year of experience in electrical panel estimation/costing.

Candidates with knowledge of PCC, MCC, VFD, and PLC Panels will be preferred.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
