Job summary

Kirloskar Brothers Limited in Pune seeks a design engineer to develop new butterfly valve products. You will prepare 3D modeling in Creo, create 2D drawings in AutoCAD, and manage BOMs in SAP for manufacturing through the system.

The role emphasizes triple offset BFV experience, standard design practices, and cross-functional collaboration withMechanical and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation using CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of BOM management and material code release in SAP.
• Knowledge of GD&T and design validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new product designs, calculations, BOMs, 3D modellings and 2D drawings in Creo for butterfly valves.
• Create 2D component drawings in AutoCAD.
• Prepare and manage material codes, BOMs in SAP and release for manufacturing.
• Prepare General arrangement and cross sectional drawings in AutoCAD.
• Maintain audit documentation and handle design changes (DCR) and BOM changes (BCN).
• Show good knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Job description

Purpose of the role :

• Be responsible for Preparation of New product design, Calculations, Bill of material, 3D Modellings and 2D Drawings preparation in Creo Software for against orders and New product development of butterfly valves. Experience preferred in Triple offset BFV.
• Be responsible for Preparation of 2D component Drawings in AutoCAD software for against orders and New product development of butterfly valves.
• Be responsible for fluently work on SAP software to preparation of new material codes, maintaining bill of material & Releasing bill of material for manufacturing through system.
• Be responsible for Preparation of General arrangement & cross sectional drawings for against orders and enquiries of butterfly valves in AutoCAD software.
• Be responsible for maintaining Audit requirement documents and files, Design changes (DCR), BOM changes (BCN) for against orders and new product designs.

Key Responsibilities :
