Job summary

Alten seeks an experienced Design Engineer to model valve automation system components and assemblies. The role focuses on SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency, GD&T application, and delivering accurate 3D models with GA drawings.

A strong manufacturing/process knowledge baseline is expected, with preference for valve automation know-how. You will work within the Engineering department, collaborating with teams to ensure timely, quality deliverables while learning and growing in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Create BOMs in PLM/ERP LN and prepare GA drawings for Valve Automation Systems.
• Ensure on-time delivery of deliverables with accuracy.
• Apply good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, and fabrication.
• Use an analytical approach to solve problems.
• Preferably have knowledge of valve automation systems, actuators, and automation instruments.

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to work on solid modelling of Valve Automation System components and assemblies. The role requires strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Knowledge of valve automation systems is preferred.
