Job summary

Rhythmsoft Robotics & Automation Pvt Ltd is seeking Design Engineer Trainee/Mechanical Draughtsman in Nashik, Maharashtra. The role focuses on assisting with BIW robotic jigs, fixtures, 3D modelling, and 2D drafting using CATIA/SolidWorks.

Freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience will join the Design & Engineering team to contribute to robotics and automation projects across India.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Mechanical Draughtsman.
• Completion of a certified design course is required.
• Fresher or up to 1 year experience in mechanical design or drafting is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA and SolidWorks.
• Maintain documentation of drawings, models, revisions, and project data.
• Understand mechanical drawings and dimensions accurately.
• Assist in development of BIW robotic jigs and fixtures and welding fixtures.
• Support design & engineering team on project tasks at customer sites as needed.
• Learn new design tools and engineering concepts on the job.

About the Role

• We are looking for enthusiastic and technically motivated freshers to join our Design & Engineering team as Design Engineer Trainees Mechanical Draughtsman
• The selected candidates will get an opportunity to work on Robotics & Automation projects, including BIW (Body-in-White) robotic jigs and fixtures, welding fixtures, SPMs, material handling systems, 3D modelling, and 2D drafting.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of Mechanical Design and Engineering Drawing.
• Knowledge of 3D Modelling and 2D Drafting.
• Working knowledge or academic exposure to CATIA and/or SolidWorks.
• Basic understanding of Jigs & Fixtures.
• Basic knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) concepts is an advantage.
• Understanding of spot welding and MIG welding is an advantage.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA and/or SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of SPMs, automation systems, and material handling equipment will be preferred.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and dimensions.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, models, revisions, and project data.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn new design tools and engineering concepts.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer/project locations across India when required.

Educational Qualification

• Must have completed a certified design course.
