Tata AutoComp in India is seeking a Design Engineer at Assistant/Deputy Manager level to design heat exchangers using Creo or CATIA. You will interact with customers to capture needs and coordinate with cross-functional teams to accelerate development, ensuring high-quality releases per APQP.
You will define DVP and perform DFMEA to ensure robust designs, with exposure to sheet metal forming and brazing advantageous.
1) Design and detailing of the heat exchangers with CREO and CATIA (Radiator / Intercoolers / Condensers / Evaporators/ Heaters / Oil coolers etc.) with accuracy level of 100%
2) Interaction with customer to understand the needs with the delivery rating of 100%
3) Interactions with Cross Functional Team (customers / suppliers / manufacturing / QA) to speed up developmental activities as a proactive action.
4) Coordinating design releases following standard APQP processes
5) Defining DVP and doing DFMEA
6)A keen interest in understanding manufacturing processes like sheet metal forming, brazing, powder coating etc will be an added advantage.
Education: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical, M.E./M. Tech in Design/Thermal Engineering
Experience: 3-8 years of design experience, and exposure to Heat Exchangers, Cooling Systems, and HVAC would be an added advantage
Required Skills: Hand on experience in CAD-Creo or Catia, PLM, DFMEA, DVP
