Reign Recruitz Solutions Chennai is looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to develop 2D/3D designs for home appliance components and assemblies. The role involves creating drawings, BOMs, and fabrication details for sheet metal parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and manufacturing requirements.

You will coordinate with production, quality, purchasing, and vendors, support prototype development, and drive design revisions to improve cost and performance.

Competenze

• Develop and modify 2D and 3D designs for home appliance components and assemblies.
• Prepare engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM.
• Work on sheet metal components, fabrication drawings, and mechanical parts.
• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD software.
• Ensure designs meet product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with production, quality, purchasing, and vendors for design implementation.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
• Identify design improvements to reduce cost and improve product performance.
• Maintain engineering drawings, revision records, and technical documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 25 years of relevant design engineering experience.
