Job summary

Jyoti Technical Services is seeking a tooling engineer with strong CAD skills and hands-on experience in tool design. The candidate will design tools under supervision, prepare manufacturing drawings, and contribute to resolving production issues on the shop floor.

Required qualifications include BE/Diploma in mechanical streams and exposure to UG NX, CATIA, and AutoCAD. A solid foundation in GD&T and heat treatment is desirable for tooling projects.

Qualifications

• SSC/10+2 marks criteria referenced in the ad; tool engineering education credentials listed.
• Degree and diploma combinations focused on mechanical/tool design relevant to tooling.
• Experience or coursework in GD&T, heat treatment, and sheet metal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design tools under guidance from group leader.
• Create manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD; design in CATIA and UG NX.
• Resolve shop floor issues related to tooling and processes.

Required Skill Set (tool engineering)

1. Should have knowledge in GD & T
2. Knowledge in Manufacturing processes
3. Should have knowledge on Heat treatment
4. Thorough knowledge on Materials, Heat tratment and usage for various applications
5. Good in design calculation for estimating the custting, bending & Draw loads
6. Should be well know to the generic construction of draw/ trim/ flanging and cam dies
7. Should be able to make BOM. Unigraphics for making the sheetmetal tool designs

Job Description and responsibilities

• Wiil be designing tools under guidence of Group leader.
• Making Manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD
• Design of small & Medium tools in catia and UG Nx
• Resolving certain shop related problems

Desired profile of the candidate

Should be a mechanical or tool engineer with more than 60% marks IN SSC & +2.
