Dover India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru invites a Design Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to work on machine design, NPD and subsystem development for a contract role.

You will review 3D models and drawings, optimize designs for manufacturing (DFMA), and perform GD&T analyses, tolerances and stack-up checks. Collaboration with global teams and data migration tasks are expected responsibilities.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years experience in machine design.
• Proficient in 3D solid modelling and drafting with Inventor.
• Experience with DFMA and manufacturing-focused design.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances and stack-up analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Work on machine design including structure, guiding elements, drive elements and system design, support NPD and ECO activities.
• Review 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and ensure alignment with customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate part designs and optimize for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
• Coordinate with global teams and follow established design processes; perform design verifications and value engineering.

Position: Design Engineer

Exp: 3- 6 years

Location: Bangalore

Position: Contract

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work experience in machine design which include structure, guiding elements, drive elements & system design. Responsible for New Product Development (NPD) and Engineering Change order/ Change request activities. Support & ownership on Sub-system Design, Drafting and CAD conversions, data migration into the system. Project planning, design reviews, design verifications and value engineering activities
• Complete review of the 3D models, manufacturing drawings (Form-FitFunction), assembly drawings, BOM w.r.t concept design/customer drawing/manufacturing requirements/assembly/performance/testing Identify opportunities to consolidate part designs among different product models and
• optimize the designs for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
• Communications with global teams, including following established design processes
• Working knowledge of materials selection, Surface finishes, Heat treatment, GD&T, tolerances and stack-up analysis, Engineering calculations, std items sizing and selections etc.

Must have skills:

• 3-5 years experience in Machine design area.
• Extensive knowledge of 3D solid modelling and drafting in Inventor and vault system
• Potential and flexible to handle sustenance/development projects independently
• Working knowledge of materials, Surface finishes, Heat treatment, GD&T, tolerances and stack-up analysis, Engineering calculations
