Job summary

EDAG Group is seeking a skilled Design Engineer (CAD) in Maharashtra, India. The successful candidate will work on kinematic layout of suspension components, apply expertise in CATIA, and coordinate with teams to meet OEM design requirements.

Ideal applicants should have a solid understanding of automotive suspension systems and experience with the automotive OEM release process.

Qualifications

• Experience with CATIA Kinematic, Part, Assembly and surface modules.
• Knowledge of automotive OEM release process and product lifecycle steps.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Kinematic layout of suspension components, meeting OEM design requirements.
• Component Design for suspension components – lever arms, axle and wheel carriers.
• Coordination with relevant internal/OEM design departments to achieve design targets.

• Kinematic layout of suspension components, meeting OEM design requirements
• Geometric and Kinematic Package for suspension components
• Solving technical issues with suspension layout / kinematics
• Coordination with relevant internal / OEM design departments to achieve design targets and resolve issues
• Component Design for suspension components – lever arms, Axle and wheel carriers, ARBs, steering arms
• Support with release process as per OEM design stages
