Job summary

Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited in Udaipur is seeking an experienced Design Engineer – Cables to design and develop instrumentation, control, power, thermocouple, RTD, high‑temperature, and special cables. You will ensure compliance with IS/IEC/UL/BS/ASTM standards and support product development.

You will prepare datasheets, BOMs, drawings, cost estimates, and perform design calculations while reviewing customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cable design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Indian & International cable standards (IS, IEC, UL, BS, ASTM).
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Instrumentation, Control, Power, Thermocouple, RTD, High Temperature and Special Cables.
• Prepare technical datasheets, BOMs, drawings, cost estimations, design calculations, and perform reverse engineering of cables and components for product development, localization, and design optimization.
• Review customer specifications (like ADNOC, EIL, NTPC, BHEL, etc.) and provide technically compliant solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, BS, UL, ASTM and other applicable standards.
• Support type testing, product validation and certification activities.
• Provide technical support for tenders, customer approvals and project execution.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial cable solutions, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, supporting product development, and providing technical support for customer requirements.
Location - Udaipur (Raj)
Key Responsibilities
