Job summary

Role & responsibilities

Product Design & Development

• Design LT cables up to 1.1 kV and HT cables up to 33 kV for domestic and export markets.
• Design conventional and advanced overhead conductors for Indian and international applications.
• Develop detailed design sheets for manufacturing after technical approval.
• Perform raw material calculations and optimize cable and conductor designs.

Costing & Commercial Support

• Develop costing sheets for conductors and cables based on raw material and consumable consumption.
• Support preparation of techno-commercial quotations and technical offer comments.

Technical Documentation

Prepare Guaranteed Technical Particulars (GTP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), technical data sheets, and order‑related documents.

Standards & Compliance

Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards (IS, IEC, BS, ASTM, etc.).

Continuous Improvement

Support initiatives for product development, cost optimization, and process improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in B.E, B. Tech.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT Cable Design and Overhead Conductor Design.
• Experience in product costing, raw material estimation, BOM preparation, and cost optimization.
• Hands‑on experience in preparing GTP, QAP, Design Sheets, Technical Documentation, and techno‑commercial proposals.
• Good understanding of tender evaluation, technical specification analysis, and quotation support.
• Knowledge of cable construction, conductor selection, insulation systems, shielding, armouring, and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with National and International Standards related to cables and overhead conductors.
• Strong analytical, costing, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
