Job summary

Quantum Fibretech Pvt. Ltd. in Khordha, Odisha (Preferred) seeks a Design Engineer for OFC, CATV and OPGW cable design. You will design, develop and optimize cables, coordinate with Production, QA, Procurement and Sales for new products, and ensure adherence to global standards.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical/ECE/Mechanical (Diploma with experience also considered). Full-time position in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in design engineering for OFC/CATV/OPGW cables.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, ECE or Mechanical (Diploma route also considered).

Responsibilities

• Design OFC, CATV and OPGW cable constructions.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs and technical datasheets.
• Calculate dimensions, tensile strength and material requirements.
• Use CAD for cable cross-sections.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ITU-T, BIS, BSNL, Railway and Utility standards.
• Support production trials, testing, tendering and product improvement.
• Coordinate with Procurement to resolve technical issues.
• Develop new designs and optimize products in product development.
