The Design Engineer will design, develop and optimize OFC, CATV and OPGW cable products and coordinate with Production, QA, Procurement and Sales for new product development.
Design OFC, CATV and OPGW cable constructions.
Prepare drawings, BOMs and technical datasheets.
Calculate dimensions, tensile strength and material requirements.
Use CAD for cable cross-sections.
Ensure compliance with IEC, ITU-T, BIS, BSNL, Railway and Utility standards.
Support production trials, testing, tendering and product improvement.
Coordinate with Procurement and resolve technical issues.
