Job summary

Indovance is seeking a Design Engineer (BE Civil) with 2–3 years of structural design experience focused on USA projects. The role is based in Narhe, Pune, with Monday–Friday work initially for 3 months and potential work-from-home thereafter.

Proficiency in Advance Steel and AutoCAD is required; excellent communication and presentation skills are a must. The candidate will design structural components for diverse structures and ensure drawings meet client requirements and governing codes.

Qualifications

• BE Civil degree required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of design experience in structural design (USA).
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated with advancements in structural software and civil engineering practices.
• Design structural components for all types of structures.
• Expert in wooden residential buildings, steel drawings, structures.
• Knowledge of multifamily framing, load calculations, beam sizing, shear wall design, foundations, laterals.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and codes/standards.
• Manage projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Prepare engineering concept plans, detailed designs, and documentation.
• Conduct meetings with the client.

Position objective:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural software and civil engineering practices.
• Designing structural components for all types of structures.
• Expert in Wooden residential buildings Steel Drawings, Structures.
• Knowledges of Multifamily Framing, Load calculations, Finalize frame sizes, Beam load calculations, Shear wall design, Foundations, Laterals.
• Ensuring designs meet client requirements and recognized codes and standards
• Managing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
• Preparing engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, and managing documentation
• Conduct meetings with the client.
