Job summary

JobItUs in India is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop models and drawings using design software, and to prepare final designs of products and components. You will execute orders and projects as per requirements and coordinate with production for smooth execution.

Join to contribute to cost estimation, support new product development, and keep product drawings updated, while monitoring market trends and ensuring ISO/ERP compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience (freshers not allowed).
• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and NX; skilled in 2D and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and drawings using design software.
• Prepare final designs of products, sub-parts and components.
• Execute order and project designs as per requirements.
• Coordinate with production team for smooth execution.
• Improve design solutions for better production efficiency.
• Cost estimation and coordination with sales team.

• Update and upgrade product drawings when required.
• Monitor competitor product designs and trends.
• Maintain MIS, reports and documentation (ISO/ERP).
• Coordinate closely with production and attend review meetings.
