Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Pune district seeks a mechanical design engineer to develop top assemblies, create manufacturing drawings, and perform calculations for mechanical seal components.

Responsibilities include BOM creation, model revisions, and delivering quality as per departmental standards, with exposure to API/DIN/ISO GD&T practices. Experience with rotating equipment and Solid Edge is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in mechanical engineering with several years of design experience.
• Experience with Solid Edge and MS Office for drafting and documentation.
• Familiarity with GD&T, material science and manufacturing technology concepts.
• Experience with rotating equipment such as mechanical seals, pumps and compressors.
• Knowledge of API applications and DIN/ISO standards related to GD&T.

• Experience in Solid Edge, MS Office, knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design, GD&T, Material Science and Manufacturing Technology, Physics, etc.)


• Experience in the field of rotating equipment like Mechanical Seals, Pumps, Compressor, Agitator,


• Experience in API application and DIN / ISO standard towards GD &T.
