Sun360 in Goa is seeking a fresh Electrical/ Renewable engineer to support solar project design, layout creation, sizing, and BOM preparation.

You will work with the Design Manager, coordinate with procurement, and gain hands-on training on live projects with exposure to AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, SolarLabs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical/renewable engineering.
• 0-1 year experience welcome.
• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare array layouts and SLDs for solar projects.
• Carry out system sizing calculations and BOQ.
• Conduct technical research on solar products, equipment and systems.
• Study and apply IEC/IS standards for solar projects.
• Understand MNRE guidelines for Goa and neighboring states.
• Maintain design databases, CRM and project trackers.
• Monitor RMS platforms, including performance analysis and generation comparison.
• Coordinate with Procurement on technical requirements and product communication.
• Work with Design Manager on process improvements and project management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure design requirements are communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare array layouts, equipment layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for solar projects.
• Carry out system sizing calculations and prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Conduct technical research on solar products, equipment and systems.
• Study and apply relevant IEC and IS standards applicable to solar projects.
• Understand and apply applicable solar policies and MNRE guidelines for Goa and neighboring states.
• Maintain and update design databases, CRM and project trackers.
• Monitor RMS platforms, including performance analysis and generation comparison.
• Coordinate with the Procurement team and vendors on technical requirements and product-related communication.
• Work closely with the Design Manager on process improvement initiatives and project management activities.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure design requirements are clearly communicated and projects progress as per technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable, or Energy Engineering.
• Freshers are welcome (0-1 year experience).
• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools preferred.
• Good learning attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate well.
