Job Description and Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work for Fire Fighting and Utility Piping projects in accordance with customer requirements, including design development, equipment selection, and drawing preparation.
• Utilize CAD technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.
• Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with fire protection standards.
• Develop design concepts and prepare documents during the design development phase. Correct and update design documents as necessary.
• Provide advice and resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies creatively.
• Develop solutions to design challenges, prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems, and analyze the operation of existing systems.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to gather information required for design completion. Regularly interact with clients to secure scope and design intent.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate work to assure documents reflect design intent.
• Work on various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial ones.
• Maintain discipline within the team.
