Job summary

Selective Global Search is seeking an experienced design engineer to design and develop chiller plastic and sheet metal components for HVAC systems in Mumbai. You will apply Creo for 2D/3D drawings, GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and manage tolerance stack-ups while performing DFMEA/DFM tasks and material selection.

Strong knowledge of ANSYS/FEA and CFD is a plus, along with BIS/IS-QCO standard compliance. Prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting support are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Creo-based design of chiller components.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis.
• DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFA experience.
• Material selection and design calculations.
• Basic knowledge of ANSYS/FEA and CFD.
• Compliance with BIS/IS-QCO standards.
• Support prototyping, testing and troubleshooting.
• HVAC knowledge, especially Split AC, preferred.
• Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
