Job summary

Machwel Engineering Services in Mumbai seeks a sheet metal design engineer to create enclosures, cabinets, brackets and panels using CAD tools. You will generate 3D models, manufacturing drawings and BOMs, applying bend allowances, K-factors and tolerances.

Coordinate with production, fabrication and quality teams to ensure manufacturability; develop flat patterns and nesting data; review customer specifications, support prototypes and optimize designs for cost, weight and strength, while

Qualifications

• Experience designing sheet metal enclosures and components.
• Knowledge of material selection (CRCA, SS, aluminium, GI).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and BOM handling.
