Job summary

Jai Hr Management Consultancy Services in Mumbai invites a Design Engineer to contribute to fire fighting and utility piping projects at Marol-Andheri. You will perform design development, equipment selection, and drawing preparation using CAD tools.

You will review drawings for compliance with fire protection standards, develop concepts during design development, and coordinate with vendors and clients to confirm scope and design intent.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work for Fire Fighting and Utility Piping projects per customer requirements.
• Design development, equipment selection, and drawing preparation.
• Use CAD to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with fire protection standards.
• Develop design concepts and prepare documents during the design development phase.
• Correct and update design documents as necessary.
• Provide advice and resolve emerging problems/deficiencies creatively.
• Develop solutions to design challenges and perform engineering studies.
• Prepare schematics and analyses for new systems; assess existing systems.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to gather information for design completion.
• Interact with clients to secure scope and design intent.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate work to reflect design intent.
• Work on commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Maintain discipline within the team.
• Prepare design specification sheets/MTO.
