Job summary

Chadha Industries Private Ltd. in New Delhi seeks an experienced R&D and Design Development engineer with a mechanical engineering background to study, design, prototype, and improve products.

You will use AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for 2D/3D models, run simulations, perform stress and weight calculations, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or diploma in mechanical engineering is required.
• 4-5 years of experience in R&D/design development is expected.
• Strong CAD skills with 2D/3D modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of materials, prototyping, and design validation.

Responsibilities

• Study, design and develop new product ideas and modify existing designs to improve efficiency.
• Create models, drawings, BOMs, and ensure standardization.
• Perform product simulation, stress analysis, and material selection.
• Prepare and present mechanical designs at design reviews.

Job description

Job Objective:

To study, research and develop ideas for new products to design and the systems used to make them. Also modify existing products design to increase efficiency or improve performance.

Location: Kirti Nagar, New Delhi

Qualification: Engineering Graduate/ Diploma- Mechanical

Role: R&D, Design Development

Accountabilities:

• Should have knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor software both (2D & 3D)
• To create models and drawings of products
• Making -GA, Quotations drawing, DWG Specification, 3D & 2D Assembly, BOM Standardization, Drafting
• R&D of Design, discussion with Team members & develop the design
• Product simulation, Stress Analysis, weight calculation, Casting DWG, Machining process, material selection
• Searching new materials, New product specification online and methods of development
• Organize and maintain existing engineering records
• Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team
• Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standard
• Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design review

Experience: 4-5 Years

Age: 24-28 yrs.
