Job summary

Techno Industries in Ahmedabad is seeking a mechanical design engineer to conceptualize, model and refine components and systems for heavy engineering projects, including EOT cranes. You will create 2D/3D CAD drawings, blueprints and detailed documentation to meet project specifications and industry standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, iterative design improvements and ensuring reliability and performance of mechanical assemblies. Prior crane experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience creating 2D/3D CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to translate project requirements into mechanical designs.
• Familiarity with industry standards for mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in conceptualization, design and development of mechanical components, assemblies and systems per project requirements and standards.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
• Develop and refine designs to optimize functionality, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to produce drawings that meet specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
