Job summary

Infiniti Solutions in Pune invites an experienced engineer to lead steel design and detailing workflows using Tekla, AutoCAD, and Advance Steel. You will guide designers, review outputs, and ensure compliance with standards and client specs.

The role emphasizes automation, process discipline, and accurate project coordination across design, detailing, and management teams. Office-based, with growth opportunities in international projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and daily usage of design and detailing agents within the design office.
• Identify tasks where agents can be effectively used.
• Support designers and detailers in using agents for project-related work.
• Review agent outputs before they are used for production drawings, shop drawings, estimation, or client submission.
• Ensure outputs comply with company standards, client requirements, project specifications, and applicable engineering practices.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, checklists, process documents, and usage guidelines for agent-assisted workflows.
• Track agent utilisation across projects and team members.
• Maintain error logs, rework records, and improvement trackers.
• Coordinate between design, detailing, checking, project management, and management teams.
• Conduct practical training and handholding for designers and detailers.
• Monitor team adoption and identify resistance, misuse, or underutilisation of tools.
• Ensure ClickUp / task management system is accurately updated for project progress, delays, comments, and review status.
• Prepare weekly reports on agent usage, time savings, quality improvements, errors detected, rework reduction, and pending issues.
• Escalate critical technical issues, repeated errors, delivery risks, or tool limitations to management.

• Support designers and detailers in using agents correctly for project-related work.
• Review agent-assisted outputs before they are used for production drawings, shop drawings, estimation, or client submission.
• Ensure outputs comply with company standards, client requirements, project specifications, and applicable engineering practices.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, checklists, process documents, and usage guidelines for agent-assisted workflows.

Escalate critical technical issues, repeated errors, delivery risks, or tool limitations to management

• Strong understanding of steel structures, PEB buildings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, GA drawings, connection details, and BOQ preparation.
• Experience in structural steel detailing or design coordination.
• Ability to read and review architectural, structural, fabrication, and erection drawings.
• Working knowledge of software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Revit, STAAD, ETABS, MS Excel, or similar tools.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, project specifications, design standards, and fabrication requirements.

Ability to check drawings and identify technical errors before submission
