Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

The Design Architect will work full time on-site in Mumbai, collaborating closely with senior architects, designers, and project managers. Responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed design proposals, and producing construction drawings and documentation. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic, regulatory, and budget requirements. The Design Architect will participate in client meetings, contribute to design presentations, and support design management throughout the project lifecycle - from initial concept to execution. The position requires consistent on-site engagement for design reviews, site visits, and coordination with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
• Candidates should possess experience in Design Management, including coordinating design processes, timelines, and collaboration across teams.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in producing Construction Drawings and technical documentation aligned with local codes and standards.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is beneficial.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of local building regulations, materials, and construction practices in India is advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
