Job summary

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology or equivalent.
• M.Sc in Microbiology with PGCC certification in Food Quality & Analysis.
• Experience in QA/QC environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly QA/QC reports including MIS and GMP indices.
• Document records for ISO, FSSC, HALAL, SEDEX, CSD and APO certifications/audits.
• Check export and domestic product labels and communicate required changes for country-specific compliance.
• Update recipes and NFT/barcode in the system for new/modified products.
• Coordinate mock recalls and file annual factory returns.

Job Description

• Prepare monthly QA/QC reports, including MIS Index and GMP Index.
• Document and prepare records for certifications and audits, such as ISO, FSSC, HALAL, SEDEX, CSD, and APO.
• Check labels for export and domestic products, promptly communicate proposed changes to meet country-specific requirements.
• Update recipes and ingredients based on inputs from the R&D department or other relevant departments, and update the Nutrition Facts Table (NFT) and barcode in the system for new and modified recipes.
• Conduct mock recalls for all factories as per the designated timeline (twice a year) and file annual returns for all factories.
• Prepare and communicate Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities and follow up for closure.
• Prepare documents related to certifications and licensing.
• Handle customer complaints from the point of receipt to closure.
• Manage documentation, including issuing, controlling, obsoleting to the system requirement and record-keeping.
• Prepare for analysis of Raw Materials (RM), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), and Finished Goods (FG) samples, and follow up with external laboratories to ensure timely report submission.
• Prepare and communicate closure documents in response to legal notifications.
• Prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) data.
• Visit Sarole factory to ensure compliance with system requirements
