Job summary

National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) in Mumbai seeks an experienced UCC and data governance professional to lead UCC compliance governance, oversee client code databases, and ensure data accuracy and regulatory alignment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in stock exchange data management, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks. MBAs in Finance or CA qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant with relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in stock exchange/data management/compliance roles
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks

Responsibilities

• Governance of UCC compliance and oversight of client code databases
• Maintain accuracy, completeness and consistency of UCC data
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to improve the UCC system and address issues
• UCC suspension and reactivation
• Ad hoc responsibilities in related areas assigned from time to time

Job description

Job Purpose

• Ensuring governance of UCC compliance
• Oversight of Unique client code database and related activities

Key Result Areas

• Effective maintenance of UCC to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency
• UCC process governance and compliance ensuring UCC related activities align with internal policies and regulatory guidelin
• UCC suspension and reactivation
• System improvements by collaborating with technology and data team to improve UCC system and address issues
• Ad hoc responsibilities in related areas assigned from time to time

Functional Competencies required

• Knowledge and understanding of Exchange ecosystem and operations
• Handling and tacking data exceptions and UCC queries
• Ability to extract computerized and manual data
• Understanding of regulatory framework

Educational Qualification

MBA Finance from a reputed Institute / Chartered Accountant

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant work experience preferably from Stock Exchange/Broking industry having experience in client data management, operations, compliance or similar role
• Knowledge and understanding of Exchange ecosystem and operations
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks
